Your privacy is important to us, which is why we treat it with care.
Below is an extra word of explanation.
We process your personal data because you use our services and /or because you provided this data to us yourself. We do this under the commercial name Xiwa. We process the following personal data: first name, last name, address, telephone number, email address, bank account number.
We process your data for invoicing, contact by telephone and email, in connection with our services and cooperation and legal obligations.
We do not store your personal data any longer than is necessary to achieve these objectives. Nor do we sell your data to third parties and will only share it if this is necessary for the implementation of our agreement or to comply with a legal obligation.
You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw your consent to the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data. You also have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data that we have in a computer file to you or another organisation.
You can request access, correction, deletion, data transfer or request the withdrawal of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data at firstname.lastname@example.org. To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your proof of identity. In this copy, redact your passport photo and other sensitive data to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as quickly as possible. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your privacy, you can file a complaint with the privacy authority.
We do not keep any sensitive information. Our website and/or service does not want to collect data about people under the age of 16, unless they have permission from parents or guardians. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in their children’s online activities, in order to prevent data about children from being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal information about a minor without this consent, please contact us via email@example.com, and we will delete this information.
We use Google Analytics to monitor surfing behaviour and therefore to adapt our website for a better experience. This takes place anonymously and ensures that the general experience is better. These decisions are made by computer systems, without the involvement of a Xiwa employee being involved.
Lieven Doise, the manager of Xiwa, is responsible for the processing of the personal data as shown in this privacy statement. Naturally, we take the protection of your data seriously with appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification. If you feel that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of abuse, please contact us via firstname.lastname@example.org.
